Prices are based on the transfer of up to two bags with a weight limit of 20 kg per bag. Some transfers may be priced differently on a discretionary basis, to be agreed upon at the time of booking.

Items exceeding 20kg will be subject to an additional charge to be agreed upon at the time of bookingWhere this has not been agreed prior to collection, we will request that the weight limit is met for future transfers.

We will not transfer any items weighing more than 25kg on a first transfer or more than 20kg if the weight has not been reduced as requested. In the case of baggage not being transferred for these reasons, we will do our best to inform you of this as soon as possible. If we are unable to contact you, we will attempt to inform the receiving accommodation provider as soon as possible. In such circumstances no refund will be given and we accept no liability for any resulting loss or incurred expense.


Any additional items (including carrier bags, laptops, hand bags, boot bags etc) must either be securely attached to the main suitcase or you must inform us of these additional items at least one day before (an additional item is any item over the 20kg limit and/or anything separate from the original item). Failure to inform us of such items may result in items not being delivered with your luggage. In such cases we will attempt to deliver the item on the following day but this is not guaranteed. If you need the additional item urgently, we suggest calling the accommodation provider and arranging a taxi delivery at your own expense.


WD Transfers will endeavour to make changes to your booking free of charge but reserve the right to charge an administration fee when changes are considered constrictive.


There will be no refund on cancellations received after 10am on the day prior to the transfer (this is considered to be 24 hours notice).

In all other cases there will be a £10 cancellation fee. Refunds are exclusive of any bank fees or card transaction fees already paid and any such fees required to make the refund will be subtracted from the value of the refund.


We collect and deliver your baggage to the next delivery point by 4.30pm. Baggage must be ready for collection by 9.15am, clearly marked using the labels provided and securely packed (we prefer that your baggage is also locked). You may be asked to have your baggage ready for collection at another time, in which case we will inform you as soon as possible.

Upon occasion it may not be possible to make a delivery before 4.30pm due to unforeseen circumstances (vehicle break down, road closure etc). At such times we will attempt to inform you of delays but WD Transfers does not accept any resulting liability from such late deliveries.

In the event that we are unable to deliver your luggage due to supply of incorrect details or an accommodation provider refusing to accept delivery, we will keep hold of your luggage for safe-keeping and attempt to deliver to the appropriate accommodation on the following day. Redelivery on the same day would be by taxi and WD Transfers would not be responsible for any costs.

In the event that we are unable to deliver your luggage due to locked and unattended premises we will attempt to deliver your luggage to a nearby, secure location and will inform you or the booked accommodation as soon as possible.

In the event that we are unable to collect your luggage due to supply of incorrect details we will attempt to contact you. If we are unable to quickly resolve the situation, the transfer will be null and void and no refund will be given. In such cases WD Transfers is not responsible for any cost incurred for new transfers.


Payment must be made within one week of the booking confirmation email. WD Transfers accept payment by bank transfer or on-line card payment. For late bookings, cash can be left with baggage (by prior arrangement only).


WD Transfers Ltd recommend that you obtain insurance for your luggage, its contents and any additional items.


We indemnify the loss of whole bags/luggage items up to £150 per item whilst in our possession (only between collection and delivery). Additional items attached to larger luggage items and electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, mobile phones etc are not included. Loss or theft of individual items from luggage is not insured and neither is damage to the luggage item itself.

In the case of the receiving accommodation being unstaffed upon delivery, drivers are able to use their discretion on where to leave luggage. This can include unlocked porches, garages and outhouses and WD Transfers accept no liability for any resulting loss, damage or injury.


WD Transfers may contract transfers to self employed drivers and taxi services. We don’t accept any responsibility or liability, legal or otherwise for any accidents, injury, damage and any other incident that may happen during the transfer. The contractor that is used retains the whole legal responsibility and is fully liable for any such incidents.

WD Transfers agree to provide the service on the terms set out above for any bookings that are accepted by us (accepted meaning that we have confirmed by email or phone that your booking has been made). Our terms and conditions are otherwise subject to change at any time.
